GLADYS A. KLASSEN
Gladys Klassen died Nov. 23, 2007. She was born July 29, 1923 in Waldheim, Sask. As a child she travelled by horse with her father from Waldheim to Glenbush when he went to build the family's sod home. On July 4, 1943, Gladys married Abram Klassen. She worked tirelessly beside her husband on the farm, driving machinery and preparing large meals for harvest crews. She always had time to tend to a flower garden. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, and was an artist and designer. She could also accompany singers at the piano and played the harmonica. Predeceased by Abram in 2005; 3 siblings; she is mourned by children Bertha (Brock), Pearl (Dave), Ruby (Greg), Carol (Wendy), Darlene, and Tim; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings. The memorial service was Nov. 27 at Waldheim MB Church.
