ELIZABETH BORN


(Mrs.) Elizabeth Born, (nee Braun), of Coaldale, Alta. passed away on June 14. She was born September 4, 1889 in the Ukraine. Mrs. Born accepted Christ in her early youth and was baptized into the Mennonite Brethren Church. She shared married life with Isaac Born for over 50 years. They came to Canada in 1924 and lived briefly in Saskatchewan, then in Grande Prairie, Alta. They came to Coaldale in 1927 and farmed there until retiring to the town of Coaldale in 1954. Isaac passed away in 1962. Mrs. Born is survived by two sons: Victor Wilms and wife Anne of Winnipeg, and Jake Born and wife Frieda of Taber; daughter Lily (Mrs. Peter) Langeman of Lethbridge, eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 sisters.
