HERMAN JACOB STOBBE
Herman Jacob Stobbe of Langley, B.C. passed away June 1. He was born February 7,1917 in Kuban, Russia to Jacob and Susanna Stobbe . In 1925 he immigrated with his parents to Canada. He served as a C.O. in Jasper, Alta. and on October 5, 1946 he married Katherine Thiessen. In 1951, he accepted the Lord and was baptized into the East Chilliwack (B.C.) Mennonite Brethren Church. The family moved to Whaley (Kennedy Heights MB Church) in 1952 and to Langley in 1962. Herman leaves his wife Katherine; son David and wife Sharon, and son Jake, all of Langley; daughter Dorothy and husband Wayne Larsen; three grandchildren; his mother, Susanna Stobbe of Kelowna, B.C.; one brother, four sisters and nieces and nephews.
