GEORGE HENRY KROEKER

George Henry Kroeker died Nov. 10. He was born in Russia Nov. 17 1921 to Henry and Margret Kroeker. The family immigrated to Canada in 1924, settling first in Hamburg, Ont., then Arnaud, Man. and finally in Alexander, Man. He farmed and also worked on construction and at a garage in Winnipeg. During World War II he remained at home, caring for his parents and farming, while his brothers were in the service. He enjoyed farming and farm animals, travelling and family gatherings . In Sept. 2003 he was admitted to hospital, then transferred to Central Park Lodge, Brandon. Here he committed his life to the Lord and found peace and assurance of salvation Mar. 30. The funeral was Nov. 16 in Brockie Donovan Funeral Chapel, Brandon with Gerry Harms ministering.
