TRACTOR ACCIDENT FATAL TO BOY
Selinsgrove, Pa. — A traffic accident near here involving a tractor and a mini-bike claimed the life of 10-year-old Michael Hostetler on Friday evening, Oct. 9.
Michael and his brother Rudy Jr. were riding along on a tractor driven by their father, Rudy Hostetler Sr., when an oncoming mini-bike without lights crashed head-on into the tractor.
The impact caused Mr. Hostetler to lose control of the tractor which hit a tree and overturned, killing Michael.
Mr. Hostetler suffered a broken collarbone and Rudy Jr. a broken leg. The boy on the bike had both legs broken.
