— Funeral services for Miss Maria Schmidt, 79, of Hillsboro were held last Friday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church near Goessel with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel, the pastor officiating. Miss Schmidt died Sept. 28 at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro. She resided in the Goessel community most of her life, moving to Hillsboro in 1954. Surviving are two brothers, John J. Schmidt of Hillsboro and Peter Schmidt of Goessel, and two sisters, Margaretha and Anna Schmidt, both of Hillsboro. | |||
