ELSIE DYCK

Elsie Dyck died Feb. 12. She was born in Muntau, southern Russia in 1922 to John and Margaret Warkentin. The family immigrated to Canada in 1924. Her father died when she was young and together with her family she worked to make ends meet. She married Nick Dyck in 1943. She sang in many choirs and quartets. She had a strong faith in God. She served wherever she could, including 3 years with MCC. They travelled a great deal. Her family was her pride and joy. Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister; she is mourned by Nick; daughters Eleanor and Sandra; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother. The funeral was Feb. 17 at Portage Ave. MB Church, Winnipeg.
