Katherine Klassen died
Sept. 29. She was born
Mar. 2, 1919 in Schonsee, Siberia, Russia to
Johann and Susanna
Braun. She came to
Canada in 1927, living
first in Hussar, Alta.
and then moving to
Gem, Alta. in 1936.
She was baptized and
joined Gem MB Church. She married David
Klassen in Gem on Dec. 17, 1942. They
farmed in Gem until 1967 when they moved
to Calgary. She took care of her family. She
enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and
gardening. After a stroke in 2001 she lived in
Chinook Care Centre. She is mourned by
David; sons David, Garry, Ralph; daughter
Susan Neufeld; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers;
1 sister. The funeral was Oct. 2 in Highland
MB Church, Calgary.

Katherine Klassen died Sept. 29. She was born Mar. 2, 1919 in Schonsee, Siberia, Russia to Johann and Susanna Braun.
