MARIE REIMER

Marie Reimer died July 7. She was born to Peter and Anna Friesen Oct. 27, 1920 in Nelson, B.C After several moves, they settled in Langley, B.C She studied at Prairie Bible Institute, Three Hills, Alta. She did mission work in the Kootenays. She married Jakob Reimer in 1952. They were missionaries to the Doukhobours and others in the Slocan Valley, B.C Her favourite time was summer when they did Daily Vacation Bible Schools. In winter she planned the crafts. They moved to Chilliwack, B.C in 1970, but returned to the Slocan Valley for DVBS as health allowed. Jake died in 1990. She devoted herself to her granddaughters. Predeceased by Jake, she leaves son Paul, 2 granddaughters. The service was July 9 in Menno Home Chapel, Abbotsford, B.C
