• Relatives from Newton attended funeral services at the First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie on Wednesday forenoon for Mrs. Clara Edna Borth, 83, who died Sunday at the Prairie Sunset Home in Pretty Prairie. Rev. Peter Voran, pastor of the church, officiated. Mrs. Borth was the former Clara Edna Schrag. She was born at Moundridge and married Ephraim Borth there in 1917. They farmed in the Pretty Prairie community for many years before retiring. Surviving are the widower of Prairie Sunset Home; three sons, John of Firebaugh, Calif., Tony of Morrocco, Ind., and Paul of Merced, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Leon Hendrixson of Hutchinson, Mrs. Ed Renich of Gillette, Wyo., and Mrs. Bob Richert of Meno, Okla.; four brothers, John Schrag of Omaha, Neb., Sam Schrag of Cheney, Dan Schrag of Pretty Prairie, and Menno Schrag of Newton; three sisters, Mrs. John B. (Anna) Goering of Newton, Mrs. Kate Saner of El Dorado, and Mrs. Lillian Heathershaw of Seattle, Wash.; 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
