• Mrs. Edna M. Baehr, 89, wife of Jacob P. Baehr, died Feb. 5 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston after a long illness. The funeral was conducted Monday afternoon at the Bethel College Church, of which she was a member, with Dr. Lloyd Ramseyer and Rev. Esko Loewen in charge. Rev. and Mrs. Baehr lived in North Newton for many years before moving to Schowalter Villa. Surviving in addition to Rev. Baehr are sons Paul and Rufus, both of Chicago, Karl of Garden City, N. Y., and Herbert of Filmore, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Sheperd of Fitchburg, Mass.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ernest Mackay of LaJolla, Calif.
