• Funeral services for Cornelius Abrahams, 74, of Hillsboro were conducted in the First Mennonite Church there on Nov. 29. Rev. Elbert Koontz officiated, assisted by Duane Flaming. Mr. Abrahams was born in the Goessel community and lived there until moving to Hillsboro in 1937. He had suffered a stroke on Nov. 10.
