• Henry E. Reimer, 68, of Hesston died at Axtell Christian Hospital here last Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Reimer at one time farmed in the Goessel community, moving to Hesston in 1940. For a time he was employed by the Hesston Corp. The funeral was arranged for Wednesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Aaron Epp in charge. Henry E. Reimer, 68, of Hesston, Kan., died on Easter morning, March 26, 1967 at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton, where he had been a patient since march 21. | |||
Mr. Reimer, son of Peter Reimer and Eva Hiebert, was born at Medford, Okla. on May 15, 1898. He was baptized on May 12, 1918 and received into the Medford Mennonite Church. He lived the greater part of his life in the Goessel and Hesston, Kan. area. He was married to Maria Hildebrand at Goessel on June 2, 1920. | |||
He had been a member of the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church at Goessel since 1921 and was a retired employee of the Hesston Corporation, Hesston, Kan. | |||
He is survived by his wife Maria; four daughters, Olga, Mrs. Irvin Friesen, Whitewater, Kan., Edna, Mrs. Otto Eck, rural Newton, Ann, Mrs. Loren Fulk Hesston; and Irma, Mrs. Howard Wiebe, Newton; one son, Edward, Newton; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ann Reimer, Wichita; and 21 grandchildren; two brothers, Peter and Jacob of California; and four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Warkentin, Mrs. Anna Thiessen, Agatha, Mrs. Mac Amas, and Frieda, Mrs. Karl Ehoff, also all of California. | |||
He was preceded in death by two sons, Milton and Elmer; two daughters, Martha and Betty, and one granddaughter, Jewell Faye. | |||

HENRY E. REIMER
Henry E. Reimer, 68, of Hesston, Kan., died on Easter morning, March 26, 1967 at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton, where he had been a patient since march 21.
