EDWARD HEINRICHS

Edward Heinrichs of Clearbrook, B.C. died of a brain tumor on September 17. He was born on November 23, 1957 to John and Helen (nee Reimer) Heinrichs in Port Rowan, Ont. He accepted Jesus as his personal Saviour at age 10, and at 17 was baptized and received into the Port Rowan MB Church. He attended Bethany Bible Institute, Hepburn, Sask. for one semester and then moved to Clearbrook. He married Sandra Hildebrandt on October 7, 1978. In January 1979 he began to have severe head aches, and on March 19 had part of a brain tumor removed in an operation. He and Sandy were able to spend July in Ontario with his parents, relatives and friends. On returning to Clearbrook, the doctors said they could do nothing. He is sadly missed by his wife Sandra; parents John and Helen, Port Rowan; sisters and families: Nancy, Fred, Greg and Heather Klassen of Gem, Alta., Elfrieda, Robert, Mark and Michelle Loewen, Port Rowan, Sharon in Sask.; brother Vern in B.C.; grandmother Mrs. Jacob Reimer Sr., Port Rowan; and his wife's parents Henry and Anne Hildebrandt, Abbotsford, B.C. The funeral was held on September 20 in the Yarrow (B.C.) Alliance church with Daniel Smuland in charge.
