Roselyn Loewen

Roselyn Loewen of Elm Creek, Man. passed away May 4, following a courageous fight with cancer. She was born Sept. 6, 1931 at Edenburg, Man. At 17 she was baptized and joined Gretna (Man.) Bergthaler Mennonite Church. She married Andrew Loewen June 1, 1952. They lived in Transcona, Man. and Altona, Man. In 1968 they bought a farm at Elm Creek and joined Elm Creek MB Church. She is mourned by her husband; sons Ron of Morden, Man. and Andrew of Elm Creek; daughters Sharon Allen of Saskatoon and Shirley, Vera NorIan and Vivian, all of Winnipeg; 5 grandchildren; 1 sister and 2 brothers. The funeral was May 9 in Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church, with Harold Reimer and Neil Funk ministering.
