Guenther Meyer

Guenther (John) Meyer of St. Catharines, Ont. passed away Mar. 19. He was born in 1921 in Marden, Germany. He accepted Christ in his youth. In 1975 he married Josephine Gallagher. Together they were baptized and joined Fairview MB Church, St. Catharines. In 1982 they joined Virgil (Ont.) MB Church, where he remained a member until his passing. He loved the Lord and his Word and served the church when he was able. He was a retired employee of Canadian Tire Corp. He is mourned by his wife; sons Reg of Vineland, Ont. and Ray of Calgary; stepdaughters Pearl McMaster and Dianne McTavish of St. Catharines; 4 grandchildren and 1 sister. The funeral was held in Hulse and English Funeral Home, with Rudy Bartel and George Wichert ministering.
