ALVIN NEUFELD

Alvin Neufeld, of Calgary, Alberta, was born on June 3, 1924 in Herbert, Saskatchewan. On October 1, 1944 he married Edna Sawatsky. Two years later he was baptized and accepted into the fellowship of the Main Centre, Saskatchewan Church. The family later moved to Calgary, where they have resided for the last 26 years.

While out on a walk, a sudden heart attack led to his passing on December 30. A funeral service was held on January 4 at the First Alliance Church in Calgary with W. K. Grout and Henry Willms officiating. He was predeceased by his father and two sisters.

Left to mourn are his loving wife, Erna; two sons, Marshall and his wife Elaine, and Donald; a daughter, Julie; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Gregory; his mother, (Mrs.) Helen Neufeld of Swift Current; two brothers, Albert and Henry; one sister, (Mrs. Alma Goertz; and many friends.
