AGED MINISTER AND BROTHER DIE WITHIN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS
Hutchinson, Kans. — Rev. David Zimmerman, aged minister of the Evangelical Mennonite church, died here at the home of his son, Everett, Saturday afternoon. He was 84.
Shortly before his death, his brother Amos Zimmerman, 72, suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and passed away the following day at a Wichita hospital.
Funeral services for Rev. Zimmerman were held Tuesday afternoon at the Evangelical Mennonite church, Sterling, and services for Amos Zimmerman were held Wednesday afternoon at the Sterling, Methodist church. They leave three brothers, Saul of Sterling, Jacob H. of Hutchinson, and Levi of Whitewater.
