Goshen, Ind. &#8212; Mrs. Agnes Gunden, 75, mother and grandmother of a well-known family which includes nine children, died at the Goshen hospital Dec. 22 after a 12-year illness of Parkinson's disease.  She had been bedfast at her home the last eight years and entered the hospital only a few days before her death. 
 
Mrs. Gunden was the widow of Christian J. Gunden, who died two years ago.  The family moved here from Flanagan, Ill. in 1930. 
 
Funeral services were held at the College Mennonite Church on Dec. 24. 
 
Surviving are five sons, Ralph, business manager of Goshen College, Orville and Elton, also of Goshen, Cleland of Milford, and Donald of Myerstown, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Wilbur Huneryager of Route 1, Goshen, Mrs. Ernest Clemens of Lansdale, Pa., Mrs. Carl  Metzler of Raleigh, N. C., and Miss Ruth, at home; 22 grandchildren; and a step-sister, Mrs. Edward Oyer of Eureka, Ill.

Mother of Nine Dies After 12-Year Illness

Goshen, Ind. — Mrs. Agnes Gunden, 75, mother and grandmother of a well-known family which includes nine children, died at the Goshen hospital Dec. 22 after a 12-year illness of Parkinson's disease. She had been bedfast at her home the last eight years and entered the hospital only a few days before her death.

Mrs. Gunden was the widow of Christian J. Gunden, who died two years ago. The family moved here from Flanagan, Ill. in 1930.

Funeral services were held at the College Mennonite Church on Dec. 24.
