&bull;  Henry Y. Schmidt, retired farmer here, died Sunday evening at Bethesda Hospital in Goessel at the age of 76.  Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Goessel Mennonite Church by Rev. Levi Koehn, the pastor. Mr. Schmidt farmed in Harvey County for a number of years, moving to Newton in 1951. He leaves his second wife, the former Neta Schmidt, and two brothers, Arnold of Wichita and Karl A. of Newton.
