MRS. ELLA S. ROCKE

Mrs. Ella S. Rocke, 73, died recently at the Meadows (Ill.) Mennonite Home, where she had resided for the last four years.

Her funeral was at the Meadows Mennonite Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Lotus Troyer officated [sic]. Burial was in Waldo Cemetery.

She was born in Aurora, Neb., Jan. 2, 1890, daughter of Rev. Christian and Catherine Reeser Redinger [sic Rediger]. She married Joseph Rocke at Aurora, Jan. 10, 1910, and he died July 20, 1947.

Surviving are two sons, Glen, Chenoa, and Cecil, Pontiac; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Folkers, El Paso, and Mrs. Virgil Wilson, Gridley; two brothers, Emil Rediger, Washington, and John F. Rediger, Inglewood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Dave Bender, Milford, Neb.; Mrs. Ben Kramer, Aurora, Neb., and Mrs. Ray Schertz, Washington; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

The family requested that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of contributions to the building fund for the Meadows Mennonite Home addition.
