Retired Farmer Dies In Peoria Hospital
Washington, Ill. — Willis D. Griffin, Sr., 71, retired farmer and a member of the Calvary Mennonite Church here, died Jan. 13 in a Peoria hospital.
Rev. Heinz Janzen officiated at funeral services in the local church on Jan. 16.
A native of Garrett, Ind., Mr. Griffin married Fannie Rich on Dec. 16, 1913. They had lived in Washington for 23 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, one brother and one sister.
