Clifford Dovel, a McLean County farmer living near Danvers, Ill., was instantly killed in a car-truck accident on Dec. 28, 1962. | |||
He was born on July 25, 1904 at Goshen, Ind. He was married to Irene Kaufman of Hudson, Ill. on Aug. 29, 1934. She is a graduate nurse of Mennonite Hospital. Also surviving are two sons, Kenneth of New York and Marvin of Bloomington, and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Yoder and Mrs. Kathleen McKibben of Goshen, Ind. | |||
He was a member of the Carlock Mennonite Church where memorial services were held on Sunday, Dec. 30. Rev. Paul Roth and Rev. Lotus Troyer officiated. The Evangelaires Quartet sang. | |||
Clifford was a faithful member, having served as Sunday school superintendent and chairman of the congregation, also chairman of Mennonite Men. He was held in high esteem as was evident by the many memorials given. He had donated his eyes to the Mennonite Hospital Eye Bank that others may be privileged to see again. | |||

CLIFFORD DOVEL
Clifford Dovel, a McLean County farmer living near Danvers, Ill., was instantly killed in a car-truck accident on Dec. 28, 1962.
