• Graveside services for Carl R. Schmidt, who died Dec. 28 at San Antonio, Texas, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Moundridge Cemetery with Rev. Russell Mast of North Newton officiating. A native of Moundridge, Mr. Schmidt had lived in Texas for the past 30 years and was employed as a bookkeeper. Survivors include two brothers, Otto R. and Clarence Schmidt of Newton and Mrs. Carl Marquis of Altadena, Calif. | |||
