Amish Father of Eight Dies At Wedding
Gap, Pa. — Funeral services were conducted here Nov. 9 for Samuel S. Fisher, 44, who collapsed and died while preparing to go home from a wedding at the John Lapp farm near Gap.
A member of the Amish church, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Fisher of the Kinzer community and served in the Boonsboro, Md. C.P.S. Camp for about four years during World War II.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, the former Katie Blank, and eight children of the home, and 13 brothers and sisters.
