•  Mrs. Mose Shenk, 79, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 18, at the Schowalter Villa in Hesston.  Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Hesston Mennonite Church, with Rev. Peter Wiebe and Rev. Milo Kauffman officiating.  Burial was in the Pennsylvania Mennonite Cemetery near Zimmerdale.  Mrs. Shenk was born April 11, 1883 in Ohio, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Landes.  On Jan. 1, 1908, she married Mose Shenk of Canton, who now survives, together with one son, Paul, Carlisle, Pa., and seven daughters:  Mrs. John (Ruth) Unruh, Richey, Mont., Mrs. Ernest (Verda) Bradley, Mrs. Ted (Mamie) Sutherland, and Mrs. C. J. (Grace) Brown, all of Denver, Colo., Mrs. James (Ann) Kelley and Mrs. Lewis (Mary) Humphrey, both of Newton, and Mrs. Wayne (Emma) Henard, Hesston.  Also suviving are one sister, Mrs. Roy Hackenberg, Hesston, 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
