Meade, Kan. &#8212; Martin D. Friesen, 54-year-old farmer here, died unexpectedly the evening of March 15 while feeding cattle.  Only about a  a [''sic''] week earlier he and Mrs. Friesen had returned from a stay in California.
Survivors include his widow, Marie, two sons, four daughters, nine brothers and sisters, and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday forenoon at the E.M.B. Church southeast of Meade.

FARMER DIES WHILE FEEDING CATTLE

Meade, Kan. — Martin D. Friesen, 54-year-old farmer here, died unexpectedly the evening of March 15 while feeding cattle. Only about a a [sic] week earlier he and Mrs. Friesen had returned from a stay in California.

Survivors include his widow, Marie, two sons, four daughters, nine brothers and sisters, and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday forenoon at the E.M.B. Church southeast of Meade.
