•  Jacob Richert, 91, a resident of the Bethesda Home at Goessel since November 1961, died there March 31.  Funeral services were conducted at the Alexanderwohl Church on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Aaron Epp officiating.  Mr. Richert was born in  Russia and was one of the pioneer settlers in Marion County, Kan.  He and his wife lived in Wichita for about 30 years before moving to the Bethesda Home.  Survivors include his wife, of the Home; a son-in-law, R. G. Warkentine of Wichita; and one grandson.
