• Funeral services for Jacob J. Wiens, 85, one of the older pioneers of the Hillsboro community, were held at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Monday afternoon, Dec. 4. Mr. Wiens passed away in the Salem Hospital in Hillsboro after months of illness. The officiating ministers were Rev. Marvin Hein and Rev. George L. Classen. A son, Jacob, and a daughter, Mrs. D. J. Penner, both of Hillsboro , survive. | |||
