Wellman, Iowa. — Funeral services were held at the Wellman Mennonite church June 3 for Ruth Ann Shettler, six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Shettler who accidentally drowned in a farm pond near here May 31. George Miller and Max Miller officiated at the services, and her six brothers served as pall bearers. Also surviving are the parents and two sisters.

The little girl had gone to the pond with two older brothers and a younger sister, and apparently got into deep water while playing around the dock.

SIX YEAR OLD IOWA GIRL DROWNS IN FARM POND

Wellman, Iowa. — Funeral services were held at the Wellman Mennonite church June 3 for Ruth Ann Shettler, six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Shettler who accidentally drowned in a farm pond near here May 31. George Miller and Max Miller officiated at the services, and her six brothers served as pall bearers. Also surviving are the parents and two sisters.
