Farmer Killed When Tractor Overturns

TRACTOR STRIKES POST ALONG HIGHWAY 54 NEAR THOMAS, OKLA.

Thomas, Okla. — A tractor accident on Highway 54 near here claimed the life of Isaac Yoder, 56, well-known farmer of this community.

Mr. Yoder was returning home from town pulling a trailer loaded with building supplies when the tractor struck a post along the side of the highway and overturned. He was thrown to the pavement, suffering a fractured skull, and died the following morning without regaining consciousness.

Funeral services were held March 7 at the Zion Amish Mennonite Church.
