MOTHER OF PASTOR CALLED BY DEATH

Freeman, S. D. — Relatives and friends from several states attended funeral services at the Salem Zion Mennonite church near here Sunday, Feb. 26, for Mrs. Rudolph A. Gering, former resident of this community.

Mrs. Gering had been making her home at Mt. Lake, Minn. but the last several weeks of her life lived with her son, Rev. Walter Gering, pastor of the Hively Ave. Mennonite Church in Elkhart, Ind.

She was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church in Mt. Lake. Rev. Albert Gaeddert, her pastor, preached the funeral sermon.
