— Funeral services for Miss Erna Penner, 66, lifelong resident of the Whitewater community, were conducted Friday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite Church. Rev. L. R. Amstutz, the pastor, officiated. Miss Penner's body was discovered by a neighbor on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the home on Route 1, Whitewater, and it is believed she died some time Tuesday night. Death was apparently due to a stroke of paralysis. Miss Penner is survived by a brother, Kurt H. Penner of Route 2, Valley Center.
