— Mrs. Henry Schmidt, a resident of the Bethesda Old People's Home at Goessel, died Tuesday night in the Home. She was a member of the Tabor Mennonite Church.

— Funeral services were conducted at the Tabor Mennonite Church on Sunday afternoon for Mrs. H. B. Schmidt, Sr., 77, who died Dec. 6 at the Bethesda Home in Goessel. Rev. James Waltner officiated. A former resident of the Peabody community, Mrs. Schmidt had lived at the Bethesda Home since 1957. She leaves two sons, two daughters, two brothers, two sisters, one foster sister, and 13 grandchildren.
