Nappanee, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church here, Saturday, April 18, for William Kurtz, 60, who was found dead in his car at a local street intersection early in the morning of April 16.

The headlights of Mr. Kurtz’s car were still burning when a night shift worker returning from South Bend discovered his lifeless body at about 2:00 a.m. Mr. Kurtz had been suffering from a heart ailment and it is believed this was also the cause of his death.

DIES IN AUTO OF HEART ATTACK

Nappanee, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church here, Saturday, April 18, for William Kurtz, 60, who was found dead in his car at a local street intersection early in the morning of April 16.

The headlights of Mr. Kurtz’s car were still burning when a night shift worker returning from South Bend discovered his lifeless body at about 2:00 a.m. Mr. Kurtz had been suffering from a heart ailment and it is believed this was also the cause of his death.

The funeral services were in charge of Rev. Earl Salzman.
