William Christian Auernheimer, Reedley, Calif., son of Jacob Auernheimer and Susanna Seits [''sic'' Seitz], was born July 5, 1879, at Summerfield, Ill. | |||
He was baptized Oct. 9, 1892, upon his confession of faith that God had sent Jesus Christ to be his Savior. Rev. C. H. van der Smissen officiated. He was received as a member of the First Mennonite church at Summerfield. | |||
Later he came to Kansas where he entered holy wedlock with Martha E. Ewert, Nov. 28, 1901, at the Garden Township church, Moundridge, with Rev. S. S. Baumgartner officiating. | |||
To this union were born five children, of which two preceded him in death, namely Jacob and Milton. | |||
The family came to Reedley, Calif., in 1926 and became members of the First Mennonite church. He was a hard working laborer, having been employed at various business places. He was very faithful and dependable in church activities. | |||
He experienced good health, and died unexpectedly on Sept. 25, at the age of 81 years. | |||
Surviving are his widow Martha, three children, Mrs. Albert Weinbrenner and Ora of Reedley, and Leroy of Fresno; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one brother, one sister, and many other relatives and friends. | |||

WILLIAM AUERNHEIMER
William Christian Auernheimer, Reedley, Calif., son of Jacob Auernheimer and Susanna Seits [sic Seitz], was born July 5, 1879, at Summerfield, Ill.
He was baptized Oct. 9, 1892, upon his confession of faith that God had sent Jesus Christ to be his Savior. Rev. C. H. van der Smissen officiated. He was received as a member of the First Mennonite church at Summerfield.
