He was born in 1886 near Eureka, the son of De Bolt and Anna Schertz Householter. In 1909 he married Laura Sauder, who died in 1931. In 1939 he married Martha Schrock, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his widow are four sons, Ray, Earl, Arthur and Robert, all of Eureka; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Watkins of Eureka and Mrs. Mildred Redenius of Minonk; three sisters and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sept. 22 at the Roanoke Mennonite church, Rev. Wesley Jantz officiating.

Illinois Farmer Called by Death

Eureka, Ill. — Peter Householter, life-long farmer of this north central Illinois area, died Sept. 19 at the Eureka hospital after suffering a heart attack in his home. He was 74.

He was born in 1886 near Eureka, the son of De Bolt and Anna Schertz Householter. In 1909 he married Laura Sauder, who died in 1931. In 1939 he married Martha Schrock, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his widow are four sons, Ray, Earl, Arthur and Robert, all of Eureka; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Watkins of Eureka and Mrs. Mildred Redenius of Minonk; three sisters and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sept. 22 at the Roanoke Mennonite church, Rev. Wesley Jantz officiating.
