Iowa Farmer Killed In Fall at Elevator

ROBERT KREBILL, 59, WAS LIFELONG RESIDENT OF DONNELLSON COMMUNITY

Donnellson, Iowa. — Injuries suffered in a 12-foot fall at the Farm Service Elevator Friday afternoon, July 1, proved fatal about an hour later to Robert H. Krebill, 59, prominent farmer here.

He was unloading corn cobs from an overhead bin when he fell, striking the wagon box. There were no witnesses to the accident. Death occurred at a Fort Madison hospital.

A native and lifelong resident of this community, Mr. Krebill was an active member of the Zion Mennonite Church in Donnellson. Funeral services were conducted at the church July 4.

Surviving are the widow, Leota; four sons, Vernon, serving in the U. S. Army, Larry of Donnellson, Gary and Leron of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Stice of Lewistown, Mo.; three grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters.
