TWO AGED RESIDENTS CALLED AWAY

West Liberty, Ohio. — Two well known aged residents were called away in death recently.

Jacob F. Kanagy, 86, died Sunday, May 29, after having been hospitalized for five weeks. He was a member of the Oak Grove Mennonite Church, where funeral services were also held.

Mrs. Katie Yoder, 78, died Tuesday, May 31. Her funeral services were held June 3 at the South Union Mennonite Church, Rev. Roy Koch officiating.

$25,000 BEQUEATHED TO MISSION BOARD

West Liberty, Ohio. — An estimated $25,000 was bequeathed to the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities by the will of the late Jacob F. Kanagy, who died on May 29.

In addition, gifts of $1,000 each were provided for the Oak Grove Mennonite Church and the trustees of the South Union Mennonite cemetery.

Menno L. Troyer, Elida, has been appointed by the court as an executor of the estate.
