—  Mrs. Ernest Owens, 61,  of Osage City died March 9 at Emporia.  She was the former Lena Kroeker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Kroeker, and lived in the Goessel community in early life. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Tabor Mennonite church, Rev. James Waltner and Rev. Lee Lohmeyer officiating.  Surviving are her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Julius F. Becker of Walton and Mrs. Sarah Friesen of Hillsboro, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Kroeker of Newton.
