Altona, Manitoba. &#8212; In a two-car collision on a gravel road near Winkler, Miss Tina Bergman was thrown from one of the cars and suffered fatal injuries. Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at the Bergfeld Rudnerweider church, with burial on the family farm in Bergfeld district. She was 59.

In another accident near Plum Coulee, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob C. Friesen were injured when the car driven by Mr. Friesen went out of control and overturned in a ditch. Mrs. Friesen had two broken ribs.

ONE KILLED IN HIGHWAY CRASH NEAR WINKLER, MANITOBA

Altona, Manitoba. — In a two-car collision on a gravel road near Winkler, Miss Tina Bergman was thrown from one of the cars and suffered fatal injuries. Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at the Bergfeld Rudnerweider church, with burial on the family farm in Bergfeld district. She was 59.

In another accident near Plum Coulee, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob C. Friesen were injured when the car driven by Mr. Friesen went out of control and overturned in a ditch. Mrs. Friesen had two broken ribs.
