Last Friday afternoon (May 9th) Mrs. Frank Balzer succumbed to the illness from which she had been suffering for the past twenty years. Mrs. Balzer had been afflicted with nerve trouble and was forced to live a life of seclusion. She spent her last days in the Bethel Hospital, where she was taken when she became seriously ill.
The funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Bethel Church. Rev. J. J. Balzer and Rev. P. J. Friesen of Butterfield officiated. —
