Bluffton, Ohio. — Death claimed one of the oldest residents of this community with the passing of Mrs. Sarah Geiger, 94, on Sept. 2 at the home of her son, Harry Geiger, in Lima. Rev. Jacob T. Friesen, pastor of the First Mennonite church here, officiated at the funeral services on Sept. 4.
Mrs. Geiger had been bedfast since suffering a broken hip four years ago. A native of Wayne county, O., she had lived here from 1912 until last year when she went to live with her son in Lima. Her husband, Peter Geiger, died two years ago at the age of 92.
