— Jacob S. Wiens, 49, a construction worker and resident of Newton the past 15 years, died Sunday evening at the Halstead hospital. Funeral services were to be held Thursday at the Frist Baptist church here, of which he was a member. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Wedel; three children, all at home; three brothers, Frank of Goessel, Pete of Newton and Henry of Wichita; and a sister, Mrs. Helen Fast of Dallas, Ore.
