Bluffton, Ohio. &#8212; Funeral services were held here Jan. 8 for Peter Geiger, 94, native of Putnam County and a retired farmer. Rev. Jacob T. Friesen, pastor of the First Mennonite Church officiated.

Mr. Geiger's death on Jan. 6 broke a marriage relationship extending over a period of 69 years. He and his wife, the former Sarah Moser would have reached their 70th wedding anniversary on Nov. 25 of this year. Mrs. Geiger, 93, has been bedfast for a year and a half with a broken hip.

Among the survivors are two great-great-grandchildren.

MARRIAGE OF 69 YEARS BROKEN BY DEATH OF AGED GRANDFATHER

Bluffton, Ohio. — Funeral services were held here Jan. 8 for Peter Geiger, 94, native of Putnam County and a retired farmer. Rev. Jacob T. Friesen, pastor of the First Mennonite Church officiated.

Mr. Geiger's death on Jan. 6 broke a marriage relationship extending over a period of 69 years. He and his wife, the former Sarah Moser would have reached their 70th wedding anniversary on Nov. 25 of this year. Mrs. Geiger, 93, has been bedfast for a year and a half with a broken hip.

Among the survivors are two great-great-grandchildren.
