JACOB LETKEMANN
The funeral service for Jacob Letkemann, who passed away February 26, was held February 28 from the Mennonite Educational Institute auditorium, Clearbrook, B.C. Pastor Jacob Quiring and Rev. David Neumann officiated.
Jacob Letkemann, who was born in Russia and was in his 34th year, was well known in the area, having taught at MEl for seven years. He had recently accepted a two-year term with the Mennonite Central Committee as a teacher in Jamaica and was there only four months when he became ill and returned home.
He is survived by his wife Linda; one son David and two daughters Sharon and Jennifer, all at home; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Letkemann of St. Catharines. Ont.; one brother,John of Komoka. Ont. and one sister, Kate (Mrs. G.) Froese of St. Catharines, Ont.
