MARGARET LOEWEN

Miss Margaret Loewen passed away January 27 in Winkler, Man. The funeral conducted by Rev. John D. Stoesz and Rev. Peter Martens, was held January 30 in the Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church.

She was born August 5, 1891 to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Loewen, near Winkler. Raised in a Christian home, she accepted Christ as her Saviour at age 16. She was baptized by Rev. John Warkentin and accepted into the Winkler Church on June 4, 1908, where she was a faithful member, also of the "SchwesternVerein."

The bereaved, thankful for their sister's faithful and consistent testimony, are five sisters: Mary of Winkler, (Mrs.) Justina Peters, and Mrs. Julius (Susie) Wiebe, both of Steinbach, Man., Mrs . Abe (Tina) Dyck of Roland , Man., (Mrs.) Lizzie Giesbrecht of Winnipeg, and one brother, Peter, of Morris, Man.
