SHELLEY STEFANUK

Shelly Carmen Stefanak was born to Ernie and Myrna Stefanuk on February 3, 1971. Although she appeared healthy her parents became concerned about her health and on February 8, 1973 her condition was diagnosed as leukemia.

Except for several brief periods in Foothills Hospital, Calgary, her parents cared for her with much love and concern, during the entire time of her illness. She went to be with the Lord early Friday morning December 6, 1974.

She leaves to mourn her early passing her mother and father; two older brothers, Ernie Jr. and Jimmie; her maternal grandparents, her paternal grandmother, several aunts, uncles and a number of cousins as well as many friends, both old and young.

The funeral was conducted on December 8 from the Foothills Gospel Chapel in Pincher Creek. Rev. G. Reimer brought the message and the Bensler family quartet sang an appropriate hymn. The burial took place in the Fairview cemetery of Pincher Creek.
