A native of this community, Mrs. Kensinger served as a missionary to Africa and later as head cook at the Salem Children's Home in Illinois and on the staff of the Mennonite Home at Meadows, Ill. Since her retirement in March 1958 she had lived with her brothers, Palmer S., Edwin and Raymond Moser of this community.

FORMER MISSIONARY TO AFRICA, INSTITUTIONAL WORKER DIES AT BERNE

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Kensinger, 66, retired church worker of the Evangelical Mennonite Church near here. She died June 21 at the Adams County Hospital after several years of ill health.

A native of this community, Mrs. Kensinger served as a missionary to Africa and later as head cook at the Salem Children's Home in Illinois and on the staff of the Mennonite Home at Meadows, Ill. Since her retirement in March 1958 she had lived with her brothers, Palmer S., Edwin and Raymond Moser of this community.
