Mrs. Franz was the former Regina miller and a native of this community. She married Peter J. Franz in 1900 at Mt. Lake, Minn., and they lived there unitl [''sic''] 1929, when they moved to Marion. Mr. Franz died in 1937.

DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Marion, S. D. — Release from long months of illness and suffering came May 16 for Mrs. Regina Franz, 83, who died after being hospitalized for 28 months. Rev. Olin Krehbiel and Rev. J. J. A. Schrag were in charge of the funeral services, held at the Salem-Zion Mennonite church near Freeman.

Mrs. Franz was the former Regina miller and a native of this community. She married Peter J. Franz in 1900 at Mt. Lake, Minn., and they lived there unitl [sic] 1929, when they moved to Marion. Mr. Franz died in 1937.
